From the very first moment we have told you that DirectDemocracyS does not accept any kind of imposition, and does not allow any religion to influence our decisions and our activities.
Among the things we prohibit is religious proselytism in our activities.
We have said that we respect all the complete freedoms of every person and all groups of people, which are potentially infinite, but end exactly where all the freedoms of another person or group of people begin. Therefore, every person who joins us is completely free to believe what they want, as long as their religious choices do not in any way influence the activities of our system.
We respect all the Deities, and all the thousands of religions, of all the people on earth, but in addition to not accepting impositions, advice, or manipulation, we do not accept any lessons in morality from any religion. We do not do this to feel superior to the various religious beliefs, but simply because we believe that each must play their role. Almost all religions have their own teachings, conceived and created for the greater good, but many of these traditions are based on their respective historical periods and often have not evolved, modernized, and renewed with the passage of time. We understand this inability to improve, ultimately, these traditions are tied to what the Deities would have taught, but we also believe that if progress, innovation, and various freedoms were not welcome to the various Deities, they certainly would not have permitted them.
We defend freedom of worship, and we will not allow this fundamental freedom to be lacking where we have the task of governing, making laws, and deciding together for the common good.
As with all traditional political forces, the various religions often "fight" among themselves to assert their legitimacy and superiority. We strongly affirm the legitimacy of all religions, and the freedom for anyone to believe what they want, but we believe that none is superior or inferior.
We have no preferences, and we hope that the various religions also have no political preferences, or that they prefer traditional, old, and failed systems, even if some of them blasphemously and indecently exploit their respective religions for political, economic, social, and often military gain. We find it squalid, though legitimate, to use religious symbols or the endorsement of various beliefs to gain votes, just as we believe it discredits the various religions to support political forces and systems that allow themselves to be influenced, and in many cases subjugated, by their respective religions.
Their respective Deities will certainly not be happy with their behavior in such situations.
In short: let's not mix business, politics, and religion. The spiritual side of each of us, whether internal or external, must be private, sincere, respectful, and not exploited.
From the very first moment, we have welcomed into our great global family people of all religions, from every part of the world, without any discrimination. We have always looked at the individual, free, democratic human being, and not at their beliefs.
We publicly asked all religions to give us their opinion on our activities, and whether there were any recommendations, or prohibitions, for their followers on participating in our system, and our political activities.
So far, we've received a wealth of helpful advice, which we'll certainly take into account, and even compliments, for which we publicly thank them. Some religions have expressed doubts or concerns regarding some of our ideologies, values, principles, and rules, but just as we don't negotiate with all other political forces, we don't accept limitations on individual, national, or ethnic freedoms. We consider it hypocritical, and contrary to faith, to allow interference in human freedom, especially from religions that recognize free will, and therefore people's freedom of choice.
But let's tackle a current topic, in November 2025, the death of the twins Alice and Ellen Kessler, born in Nerchau on August 20, 1936 and died in Grünwald on November 17, 2025, who chose an assisted suicide procedure to leave this world together.
For us, there's no doubt: each person's choices can be criticized and debated, but they should never be judged, and above all, prohibited. None of us has the right to impose on others personal choices, which have certainly been carefully considered and are generally not instinctive, but the result of long consideration of the pros and cons.
In the case of the Kessler twins, it is a shared choice between two people bound by an unbreakable bond of love, which has kept them together, from birth, for many years.
As always, traditional politics and various religions create battles to express their positions, seeking to influence the thinking of their followers. Everything is legitimate again, and woe betide anyone who prevents them from expressing their opinion, but once again we find it squalid, ethically and morally reprehensible, to gain consensus on death, pain, suffering, and people's fears.
DirectDemocracyS does not judge such personal choices and will support any law that allows everyone to choose, as long as those choices do not negatively impact the lives of others. Every rational being should be able to decide for themselves, without causing problems for others. We will forever fight to allow everyone to choose for themselves, without having to justify themselves to anyone. We repeat: if their decisions do not have negative consequences for others.
We believe that life, and one's body, belongs to each individual, who, within the limits of the freedoms we discussed previously, should dispose of it freely, choosing what they believe is the best solution for themselves.
The State, or a system, must not impose, but understand the motivations, and respect the decisions, of its citizens.
Limiting these freedoms is profoundly wrong, because as we have always said: we are not all the same, we do not have the same mentalities, and we do not all think the same way, therefore the Laws should not impose, and should not limit, freedoms, in the name of the preferences of the majority, over the choices of a minority.
However, the law has the duty to protect the freedoms of every single person, or group of people, working with specialists to prevent any form of ethically and morally incorrect use of the various freedoms.
Following the advice of various experts, for the good of the entire population, is essential, to prevent freedom from turning into anarchy, and to prevent the usual crafty ones who exploit the Laws to oppress and subjugate others.
As we always say: politics must optimally solve all problems, for all people, without creating new ones.
These official positions of DirectDemocracyS are not to be interpreted, they are so clear, evident, and limpid as spring water, that they cannot be denied, or used against us, or in our favor.
In practice, you will never have an official position from us, against or for a religious choice, or a personal choice, but our absolute respect for any decision of this type.
We don't do this to appear more just, fair, beautiful, or kind, but simply because everything we say, show, write, or spread is based on logic, common sense, truth, scholarship, and mutual respect for all people. We repeat this in almost every article, because it's often not clear enough.
The preceding sentences make it impossible for our system, and our political organization, to make the wrong choices. This isn't a matter of "political balancing act." Our system was always designed to be this way, always on the right side, and always in favor of individuality, freedom, and democracy.
We believe that every freedom of any minority, provided it does not take away or negatively impact the freedoms of others, must be allowed. However, avoid judging or trying to ridicule certain decisions, because as we often say: love is the greatest force in the universe, and it often manages to surprise us, as in the case of the Kessler twins, but also in many situations, with ordinary, non-famous people making similar, difficult, and painful choices, yet often more powerful than thousands of platitudes, often uttered for personal gain by those who want to impose their own way of acting, reasoning, and thinking on everyone.
Our unity in diversity makes DirectDemocracyS unique and inimitable, and will always be so.
