The first difference you will notice is that the form in the previous example allows users to log in using an email address and password, or via a Google account. In contrast, the login forms on our primary subdomains (with very few exceptions, such as some of our financial or economic-focused sites) require a username and password, along with mandatory two-factor authentication (2FA). Every new user is required to set up 2FA for their personal profile upon their first login, once their account has been activated. A second issue concerns the option to log in using a Google account. DirectDemocracyS accepts personal email addresses from any email service provider for all its users. However, for security reasons—and to enable roles with greater responsibility and expanded capabilities—you cannot register or join us using accounts created through third-party platforms, such as Google, Microsoft, Meta, X, or other websites and applications. In short, those who contribute to our self-financing—with their annual fees, continuous attendance, and concrete activities—have the power to participate in our decisions, and as an official member, they can also have access virtually everywhere, as provided for by our rules.
