The entire DirectDemocracyS system expresses a heartfelt message of condolence, and sends a fraternal embrace, to all Catholic believers, who are suffering in these hours, for the death of Pope Francis, born Jorge Mario Bergoglio who was, since March 13, 2013, the 266th Pope of the Catholic Church and Bishop of Rome, 8th sovereign of the Vatican City State, Primate of Italy, in addition to the other titles proper to the Roman Pontiff.
In addition to being a spiritual guide for his religion, he was an important protagonist of the social, political, and economic life of the world.
Like all important people, he was criticized, or appreciated, based on the convenience of each person. We, have shared with great humility, integrating them into our projects, his most human and "revolutionary" teachings, such as respect and concrete help, to be given first, to people in difficulty, and the support of minorities of all types. We did not support, however, some limitations to individual freedoms, and we did not believe sufficient, the efforts for the defense of women, and for their equal entry with men, in the main roles of the church.
There was still a lot of work to do, for the good of all, and it is a pity that he died, before being able to see some very ambitious projects realized.
We are saddened by His death, and we pity the hypocrisy, and the attempts to obtain political advantages, interpreting the words of the Pope, based on personal convenience, and of some political forces.
As far as we are concerned, in our system, and in our political organization, all people are respected, individually, and in groups, without any type of discrimination, and while not accepting any type of influence, or interference from all religions, we, defend, and will defend forever, authentic democracy, and all freedoms, including that of believing or not believing, in the various Divinities. The only discrimination we make, in DirectDemocracyS, is between good people, and bad people, and certainly Pope Francis, is to be included in the first category.
We wish all Catholics, and all the good people of the world, believers in any Divinity, or non-believers, to never forget, the many good things that the Pope has done and said, and we hope that the new Pope, will be equally competent, generous, humble, courageous, and revolutionary.
