Announcement dated August 26, 2024.
In the period just before and immediately following our efforts to upgrade our web servers, several things happened that we want to talk about.
The most recent, the arrest in France of one of the founders of the Telegram platform, Pavel Durov.
DirectDemocracyS, always defends, freedom and democracy, which are for us, two of the few things, for which all normal people should fight. If the French justice system makes accusations and arrests people, it will certainly have serious reasons, and if Mr. Pavel Durov is innocent, it will have all the possibilities and means to prove it. Let it be clear to everyone, we cannot be on one side, or the other, until we know all the real reasons for the arrest, and until the possible trial has ended, with a final, irrevocable sentence. For DirectDemocracyS, and for anyone who joins us, every person is innocent, until they have been finally convicted and denied all possible appeals. Until that moment, for all of us, one person, every person, is innocent.
However, we must make our assessments, always based on concrete evidence, on truth, on knowledge, and leave theories and assumptions to those who have time to waste, talking about things they don't know. Justice must be equal for everyone, and must not be selective and discriminatory. If the simple fact of encrypting communications, protecting anonymity, and people's personal data is a crime, you must immediately arrest all of us who apply all these rules. For us, each person, or group of people, who join us, can remain completely anonymous, communicate by all our means, in an encrypted way, and keep all their personal data safe. Not because we like to keep it secret, but because it is right, and logical, to work this way.
On Telegram, we have limited activity, a small group, and a few messages exchanged. One thing, however, is clear to everyone. On all platforms, criminal activities can take place, or all laws may not be respected. Whoever has the task of investigating must in no way force anyone to reveal the identities, personal data and communications of anyone. They are paid to investigate, to find crimes, and accuse, certainly not to invade everyone's privacy. Investigations can be done in a targeted, rather than general, way. We are convinced that illegal activities can take place on all platforms, not only on Telegram, but also on all the others, including ours, but this does not authorize anyone to access sensitive data. As far as we are concerned, we have security groups, organized in an impeccable way, which thanks to our rules and various reports, can prevent ethically incorrect use of all our potential.
In DirectDemocracyS, we are the first to report, to the competent authorities, any activity reported as suspicious, which proves to be illegal, but only, after having acquired all the evidence ourselves, and only with the certainty that crimes are being committed. We don't want to be complicit in illegal activities, but we don't want to accuse either, without having all the proof. Let's leave the summary, online trials to others. We will never accept having to facilitate the work of those who must investigate, if this means revealing the identities, personal data and communications of our users. Based on the extraterritoriality of the Internet, no Law, and no Judge, can force us to disseminate identities, personal data, and communications among our users. We haven't done it, we don't do it, and we never will, for anyone.
Blaming those who invented and created Telegram for all the illegal activities, which perhaps, based on the accusations, took place on their platform, is simply unfair, and certainly stupid. Whoever invented the telephone is not guilty of the crimes committed using his invention. It would be like blaming whoever created the first knife for all the deaths caused by their invention.
At this point, the question that arises spontaneously is this: why are Telegram, and the others, not investigated, indicted, and imprisoned? Perhaps they are annoying, some yes, and others not.
If the founders of every social platform are responsible for everything that it conveys, then everyone, absolutely everyone, must be sent to prison: from the politically correct and very democratic (in the sense of the US party) Mark Zuckerberg, to the very politically incorrect and the Trump supporter, Elon Musk, who, in fact, was quick to say, with a mixture of provocation and concern, that "he will be next". Because it is clear that illegal contents, in one way or another, despite different levels of encryption, pass through all the social networks that we have on our smartphones.
As regards the contents of the Telegram platform, often defined as "conspiracy theorists", or even worse, we are always for freedom and democracy. Including freedom of speech, of expression, and also of making a bad impression by talking about things you don't know. Therefore, every person must be able to express their thoughts, and their theories, without any type of censorship. In DirectDemocracyS, in groups of specialists, each person can speak, write, and discuss only things that they know, have studied, or, in many cases, taught. No one can write, at will, in public spaces, not to prevent expression, but to keep our work clean, tidy and organized. However, we have created free groups in which one can propose, talk, discuss and work on any theory, even the strangest, without any censorship, except education and mutual respect. We have never excluded, we do not exclude, and we will never exclude, for any reason, those who have ideas that are different, or contrary, to the decisions taken by the majority of our users, as long as they are loyal, honest, and put into practice the decisions of the majority , certainly not to impose, but because it would be impossible for everyone to agree on everything, therefore the minority, while retaining its own ideas, must respect and implement the decisions of the majority. Our unity, in diversity, is one of our characteristics, which make us perfect. Everyone's ideas must be listened to, but then we all decide together and adapt.
The old, traditional politics was at its worst, even at the recent Paris Olympics. They transformed a women's boxing match into a political clash, which has nothing sporting about it. From those who took one side to the other, they were all squalid. All ready to give opinions, for a few more votes, or, to confirm their own opinions, they did not hesitate to create useless discussions, and to give lessons, to those who think differently. Literally everyone from every country in the world talked about it. Leaders of various countries, ready to explain to us what is normal and what is not, but also ready to teach the Olympic Committee how the Olympics are organized and their control bodies, have taught them to carry out checks. The only ones who had the right to talk about it were those directly interested, the respective sports federations, and those who really specialized. Sports competitions must be held on "equal terms" and the best, or the fittest, must win. Has it occurred to anyone that if an athlete is allowed to compete, it means that all the checks have been carried out, by specialized and competent people and bodies, and that everything is in order? We trust those who carried out the checks, and those who decided to allow the Algerian boxer Imane Khelif to participate in the match against the Italian Angela Carini (who withdrew), and in the subsequent ones. The sporting match has been transformed into a political clash, and into the infinite debate, of the rights of people with sexual orientations different from those of the majority. At the beginning of our activities, some political experts had advised us to clearly side with the heterosexual majority, and against people with different sexual orientations. They told us that we would have greater and immediate consensus. But we don't do things that are convenient for us, but those that are based on logic, common sense, and mutual respect. To our own good, we prefer the good of all. Homosexuality and bisexuality are not against nature, in fact in nature, many animals are bisexual, or homosexual, and their species are not extinct. And these sexual preferences are not against religions, because God, or the Gods, allowed us to choose, and did not create us all heterosexual. Some religious interpretations, however, condemn the people of the GLBTQ community, who will always be defended, like all other people, by DirectDemocracyS, and by anyone who joins us. Giving rights to sexual minorities does not take anything away from the heterosexual majority, therefore, for us, giving freedom to anyone to love whoever they want is the right thing, and common sense. We are not interested in the vote, support, and work with us of those who discriminate, on the basis of sexual preferences, of those who are racist, of those who are anti-Semitic, or anti-Muslim, and of those who generalize, hate, or envy other people, or groups of people. Respect for women, children, young people, adults and the elderly, for the planet, nature and culture are fundamental for us.
Finally, Pope Francis' statements in support of the Russian Orthodox Church and against discrimination by Ukrainian politics, which intend to limit freedom of worship, caused a sensation. Respect for minorities is very important for us, and each person, in addition to loving whoever they want, must be free to pray, whoever they want, and in the way they want. DirectDemocracyS, is always in favor of those who defend themselves, and considers it a moral duty for everyone to help Ukraine in every way to regain its freedom, independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity. We condemn Russian policy, which began this cruel invasion, as we would have condemned any other country that invades or attacks another, including the United States. We condemn every form of terrorism, but also every form of exaggerated and indiscriminate response on the part of regular armies. Likewise, we condemn all dictatorships, and all single parties, which do not allow opposition, but we also condemn all forms of violence, including sanctions, which aim to provoke regime changes, from exhausted populations, from these terrible sanctions. The only ones who can, and must decide, throughout the world, are all citizens, of every country and territory. But we also condemn those who prevent minorities from expressing themselves freely and from having the right local autotomies. In short, we are on the side of the truth, and of those who suffer, without ever discriminating against anyone. Anyone who wants to teach the Pope, to be the Pope, but also the Olympic Committee, to be the Olympic Committee, certainly cannot join us, because such behavior is not compatible with us, due to ignorance and stupidity. , of those who make similar reasoning.
Finally, a thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to the various people who support us, both economically and morally, and who allow us to be the best political force in the history of humanity. We also thank the various social networks that host us, and especially those that try to stop us, slow us down, and boycott us, not making our political organization known to many people. In this way, we can grow, in a controlled manner, welcoming each new user, in the best possible way, without being invaded and blocked by too many people all at once. The fact that the personal profiles of the people who help us are eliminated, however, we consider it to be a completely wrong method, which will certainly backfire and create a lot of damage in the future to those who behave in this way. We will never forget you, and we will be able to respond to you, intelligently and with great firmness. DirectDemocracyS will make Internet giants pay the same taxes that ordinary citizens and small and medium-sized businesses pay. Everyone must pay the same percentages, without any exceptions. And without any advantage, for those who don't deserve it. And when we win the elections, in all countries, we will demand that they pay every last cent of taxes, exactly in the countries and territories where they made the profit, and not in tax havens, or in countries where they enjoy of tax advantages, which they certainly do not deserve. Perhaps, for these reasons, we are not very loved by these giants of the web, who have all our personal data, and who decide what we can say, and how we should think. And anyone who doesn't conform is considered a nothing, suffering various discrimination. With DirectDemocracyS, they will have no chance of shutting us up, nor of sabotaging us, slowing us down, or worse, stopping us. Only 0.2% of those who follow us on social networks receive notifications of what we write. For this, we thanks, in a sarcastic way, the algorithms and those who programmed them.
Currently, Meta's social network, Facebook, has blocked, in a shameful way, and for no reason, 2 of our 3 personal profiles, at a continental level, which manage our pages, and our groups, from various countries, on this social network. Coincidentally, they blocked Asia DirectDemocracyS, and Africa DirectDemocracyS, leaving only Europe DirectDemocracyS to work (perhaps out of fear of the European Courts, which would condemn them, in the event of a total block, or the block of our official European representative). To unlock our personal profiles, they ask us for photographs, identity documents and personal data, which would put the lives and freedom of these people and that of their families at risk. Being dissidents, in their respective countries, these members of ours, if they were identified, would sign their own death warrant, and would put their families in serious danger, which is unacceptable for us. DirectDemocracyS also, at the time of registration, provides security measures, and identification, of each person who joins us, but unlike them, we do it from the beginning, and we can guarantee, the impossibility, for anyone, to access this data. We have very few people who can access it, and only one person at a time, so we would always know who is responsible for it. We officially and publicly ask that our personal profiles dedicated to Africa and Asia be immediately reactivated, without any kind of request. Furthermore, we have thousands of people who follow our profiles, and these sabotaging attitudes denote a total lack of respect, not only towards us, but also towards those who follow us on social networks. For these people, the public pages of these blocked profiles are available on our website, and you can follow their updates, without the intrusive advertising, and without the unnecessary distractions, of this social network.
We would also like it if our pages and our groups were not blocked for no reason, every time we publish something, we know that the truth hurts and is annoying, but be more open minded. We are an international political organization, legally recognized, in almost every country in the world, and also at European level, and you will soon find out. If you dispute something with us, you must do so in detail, and not in a general way. Some time ago, you gave us a reason, which will make everyone who reads this article smile. You said that we do it to receive consensus and to change citizens' voting intentions. That is exactly the purpose of any political force, except that you let everyone else do it, without any problem, whereas we at DirectDemocracyS, don't let it do it, perhaps because it is the only one, with real possibilities of changing and improve the world. Perhaps, also because our innovation, an alternative to all the old politics, you don't like, it doesn't suit you, and above all it scares you.
There are many other things to talk about, but we don't want to make articles too long.
Thanks again everyone, we love you.
